The skills we learn and use to engage with art can have practical use in our daily lives. In this workshop, Lisa and Donna guide participants through immersive, artful practices for wellbeing. With a focus on nurturing our individual and collective wellbeing, Lisa and Donna collaborate to create supportive art activities, rooted in neuroscience, to navigate our personal stories. With support from Donna and Lisa, participants will identify themes arising from their personal experiences and discover creative ways to explore them.
As Lisa and Donna explain,
“Participants will be shown some basic art processes and storytelling activities which will help them not only to find their own personal story, but also to express their story and feelings in a unique way.By the end of the workshop, participants will have produced some art images with accompanying text which illustrate their developing sense of self.”
